I am a beginning photographer who uses a Nikon D5000 SLR camera I recently purchased. I do not have all the aperture info to include in my review, but I can assure this lens is an awesome lens for ANY user. I photographed a wedding this week along side a profession photographer. Comparing my pictures to his, I have less noise using this lens and my shots were clear with beautiful color and dimension to each photo! He was impressed so much in fact that he wanted purchase info himself for his camera lens collection. You will not be sorry with this purchase!! It is an excellent value for the money!

The built-in motor allows autofocus with all Nikon digital ameras. These lenses incorporate a macro feature with aximum magnification 1:2 at the 300mm focal length. It is suitable for various types of shooting conditions. This telephoto lens has a 1:2 maximum magnification at the 300mm focal length. It is ideal for portraits, sport and other types of photography. SLD (Special Low Dispersion) glass provides excellent correction of chromatic aberration.
